Terms and conditions.

Last updated: 23 October 2026 (draft)

This is a draft. These terms will apply when the Drobyn wardrobe opens, and they may change before then. We will ask you to accept the final version when you create your account.

About these terms

Drobyn™ is run by Payasi Technolabs Private Limited, a company registered in India, with its registered office at Jaisinghnagar, Shahdol, Madhya Pradesh, India ("we", "us"). These terms cover the Drobyn website at drobyn.com, the Drobyn web app and the Drobyn mobile apps (together, "Drobyn").

By creating an account or using Drobyn, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Drobyn.

Your account

You need to be at least 18 years old to create a Drobyn account. When you sign up, you confirm that you are.

Give us accurate details and keep them up to date. Keep your password to yourself: an account is for one person, and you are responsible for what happens in it. If you think someone else has used your account, write to support@drobyn.com straight away.

If you sign in with Google, Google’s own terms also apply to that sign-in.

Plans and the free trial

Free forever is free and has no end date. It starts with a 7-day trial in which every feature is unlocked and you can scan and upload up to 50 items. After the trial, you can still view up to 50 items and your outfits, but you cannot add anything new. Everything you added stays in your account.

Ace, Pro and Plus are paid plans, billed every month or every year. What each plan includes, such as how many items you can snap and add or how many virtual try-ons you get each month, is shown on our pricing page when you subscribe. Monthly allowances reset at the start of each month, and anything unused does not carry over.

Wardrobe Filler is a one-time add-on that gives you 100 more snap and add items. They are valid for 12 months from the day you buy it; any left after that expire.

If an AI import fails because of a problem on our side, it does not count towards your allowance.

Payments and renewal

Prices are in Indian rupees and do not include GST. GST at 18% is added at checkout.

Payments are handled by our payment partner, Cashfree Payments, using UPI Autopay or a card. We never see or store your full card number or UPI PIN.

Your first month or year is charged when you subscribe. After that, your plan renews automatically at the end of each period, and the renewal is charged to the same payment method, until you cancel. Before each automatic renewal, you are notified as Indian payment rules require.

If we change the price of your plan, we will tell you at least 30 days before the new price applies. The new price only applies from your next renewal, and you can cancel before then.

If a renewal payment fails, we or our payment partner may try again over the next few days. If it still cannot be collected, your account moves to Free forever. Nothing in it is deleted.

Changing or cancelling your plan

You can upgrade at any time. The new plan starts straight away and is charged in full; the unused part of your old plan is not refunded.

If you move to a smaller plan or switch between monthly and yearly billing, the change takes effect when your current period ends.

You can cancel at any time in your account settings, or by writing to support@drobyn.com. You keep your paid features until the end of the period you have paid for, and then your account moves to Free forever. Cancelling never deletes your wardrobe.

Refunds

When you can get a refund, and how to ask for one, is set out in our Refund and cancellation policy, which forms part of these terms.

Your content

The photos, items, outfits and notes you add are yours. You give us permission to store, copy, resize, analyse (including with AI) and display them, only to run Drobyn for you and to show them to the people you choose to share them with. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from copies in backups, which are deleted on a regular cycle.

Only add content you have the right to use. Don’t upload photos of other people without their permission.

When you share a piece, an outfit or a collection, anyone with the link can see it until you stop sharing. Sharing is always your choice.

AI features

Drobyn uses AI to recognise clothes in your photos and to suggest details, outfits, colours and virtual try-ons. These are suggestions for you to confirm. AI can get things wrong, so check what it suggests before you rely on it.

AI suggestions are for inspiration only. They are not professional advice.

Using Drobyn fairly

Please don’t upload anything unlawful, including anything that is obscene, defamatory or hateful, harms children, infringes someone else’s rights, or that the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules do not allow.

Please don’t try to get around plan limits, copy or resell Drobyn, take Drobyn apart to work out how it works, collect data from it with bots or scripts, overload it, test its security without our written permission, or pretend to be someone else.

If you break these rules, we may remove the content concerned, and suspend or close your account. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you first and explain why.

If someone makes a claim against us because of content you uploaded or because you broke these terms, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it.

If your use of Drobyn harms Drobyn, Payasi Technolabs Private Limited, our users or anyone else, we may also take legal action against you, including claiming damages and reporting it to the police or other authorities. Removing content or closing an account does not stop us from doing so.

Other services

Some parts of Drobyn rely on other companies, for example Google for sign-in, Cashfree Payments for payments, and weather services for daily suggestions. Their own terms apply to what they provide.

Drobyn does not sell clothes. A "Where to buy" link takes you to a shop we do not run, and any purchase you make there is between you and that shop.

Trademarks

Drobyn™, the Drobyn logo and the names of Drobyn’s features are trademarks of Payasi Technolabs Private Limited. Please don’t use them without our written permission, except to refer to Drobyn accurately.

Keeping Drobyn running

We work to keep Drobyn available and your wardrobe safe, but we can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors. Sometimes we need to pause it for maintenance.

We improve Drobyn all the time, so features may change. If a change takes away something central to the paid plan you are on, we will tell you in advance, and you can cancel and get a refund for the unused part of your current period.

Closing your account

You can stop using Drobyn at any time. To delete your account and everything in it, use Delete account in your account settings, or write to support@drobyn.com. We delete your data within 30 days, apart from records the law requires us to keep, such as invoices. How long anything else is kept is set out in our Privacy policy.

If you delete your account while on a paid plan, the rest of your current period is not refunded, except as set out in our Refund and cancellation policy.

Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these terms takes away your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or any responsibility the law does not allow us to limit.

Apart from that, we are not responsible for losses that we could not reasonably have foreseen, or that come from causes outside our control. Our total responsibility to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for Drobyn in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Drobyn changes. If a change matters, we will tell you by email or in the app at least 30 days before it applies. If you keep using Drobyn after that, the new terms apply. If you don’t agree with them, you can cancel and close your account before then.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India.

If something goes wrong, please contact us first; most problems can be sorted out quickly. If we can’t resolve a dispute, the courts at Shahdol, Madhya Pradesh will have jurisdiction. This does not affect your right to bring a complaint before a consumer commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

Grievance officer

In line with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules, and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, you can raise a complaint with our grievance officer: Ayush Payasi, Payasi Technolabs Private Limited, Jaisinghnagar, Shahdol, Madhya Pradesh, India. Email: grievance@drobyn.com.

We acknowledge every complaint within 48 hours and aim to resolve it within one month.
